Succesfull EVC 2010
Dearest colleague and EVC participant,
We all look back to a successful European Vascular Course 2010 and we are grateful to the 1094 registered specialists and over 300 participants of the medical industry who came to Maastricht to join us. The educational and training value of EVC was highly rated and the scientific level most appreciated. Also the quality of the conference center was merited.
All participants received a textbook at registration, either the vascular, venous, vascular access or the hybrid cardiac book. Overall, more than 50 edited video’s were integrated in the scientific program, showing all technical aspects of surgical and endovascular procedures.
The Pontresina Master class was fully booked and many hands-on courses and individual training sessions contributed to the goal of EVC: training and education. Finally, very well designed satellite symposia organised by the medical industry completed the program.
EVC 2011 will be organised on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, March 2-4 in Maastricht.
Besides the TGV, Thalys, Eurostar and ICE train network to Maastricht we will identify Brussels and Düsseldorf as our two main airports at which we will have free shuttle service to and from Maastricht every 30 minutes, during 3 days for all EVC participants!
We will continue to focus on education and training, including long presentation and discussion times, edited video’s, vascular and endovascular models, individual teaching and case discussions. The scientific program will be ready soon and accessible at our website.
We will keep you informed during our preparations for EVC 2011 and hope to see you in Maastricht next year.
