The organizers’ aim of this course is to compose a high level post-graduate course, providing the participants with the most updated knowledge about the chosen subject. Therefore more than 75 authors in the cardiovascular field are selected each year on the basis of their specific expertise within the selected subject.They prepare a didactic chapter for the EVC Textbook and following extensive editing and translation. The book is distributed the day of the meeting. The high scientific and didactic standard of the textbook has been yearly confirmed by journals like the New England Journal of Medicine, the Lancet and the Journal of Vascular Surgery (Book Reviews).
